If neoprene bearing pad (NEO) has been included with your project, it should be installed on the cover ledge prior to cover installation. This is done to provide additional protection to the ledge and stabilization to the cover. Neoprene pad is required on all trench projects with 6.5” thick H-40 rated covers. Neoprene pad is available in 50 ft rolls.
